The Wait is Over

I woke up with Easter words, pounding the inside of my head. (Also, way earlier than I wanted to, but whatever.) So, I’m believing these are words from the Lord for us today.

THE WAIT IS OVER. He is RISEN.

Do you know? Do you even realize what happened on this day so many years ago? Darkness was conquered. The tomb was empty. Jesus walked among us, resurrected.

They can try to take away Christmas, encouraging us to offer a generic “happy holidays” instead, but Easter can never be silenced. Easter is our day to be loud – to make a lot of noise. It was not a quiet day then and it is not a quiet day now. The veil had torn in two, the earth shook, the stone was moved. He fought death and won. We have something to CELEBRATE. We have something to get LOUD about.

That is what Easter celebrates – that they tried to silence our Jesus but He just got louder.

We live without fear because of this day. We live in victory because of this day. We have hope that cannot be shaken because of this day.

If you’ve never considered Jesus before now, consider Him today. Think about what He did for you – know that the Gospel is for you. He LOVED you enough to fight death and WIN. You know how when Christian athletes score and they point to the sky, giving credit to God? When He walked out of that tomb, He pointed at you – it is all for you. All for you, my love.

You will not find Him in the grave. He is not there. He is not dead. HE is ALIVE.

Live in Easter power today and everyday. Never forget the power that is within you because you know and love Jesus Christ. We are more than conquerors. There is nothing to fear, because on this day so many years ago, perfect Love cast out fear one.last.time.

Get loud. Celebrate. DANCE (Even you Baptists, c’mon.)! Today is the pinnacle of JOY.

THE WAIT IS OVER – HE IS RISEN.
